Today I would like to talk to you about the so-called low-carb diets, that is, those diets with few carbohydrates.

Reducing the amount of carbohydrates in the diet it's one of the best ways to lose weight, first and foremost.

Not eating it tends to reduce your appetite and cause you to "automatically" lose weight, without needing to count calories or portion control.

This means that you can eat up to satiety, feel satisfied, and still lose weight.

Why would you want to be low-carb?

Over the last few decades, health authorities have recommended eating and maintaining a low-carb low-calorie, very low-fat diet.

The problem is, this diet doesn't really work. Even when people manage to lose weight in the short term then they are unable to maintain that regimen for life.

An alternative that has been available for a long time is the low-carb diet. This diet limits the intake of carbohydrates such as sugars and starches (bread, pasta, etc.) and replaces them with proteins and fats.

Studies show that low-carb diets reduce appetite and they make you eat fewer calories and lose weight with virtually no effort, as long as you can keep the carbs low.

Low-fat and low-carb diets don't compare , diets in which there are few carbohydrates are those with which you can lose weight better and longer.

Low-carb diets also have benefits that go far beyond simple weight loss. They lower blood sugar, blood pressure and triglycerides. Moreover, eating fewer carbohydrates also raises the good cholesterol and lowers the bad one.

However, various things must be understood: the first is that the consumption of carbohydrates also varies from the life one leads, there are people who will be able to eat more carbohydrates because they will have a more intense life with regular physical activity.

Those who lead a sedentary life will certainly have to eat less of them because they will not even have the possibility to burn them in large quantities.

However, the best thing is to eat lots of fruit and vegetables, also use fruit as a snack during the day (better a nice apple to munch on than a pack of crackers) and use moderate amounts of whole grains, from pasta to bread to flakes of oats because refined cereals have large quantities of sugars, therefore the wholemeal is better on everything.

This diet, if respected, will bring great benefits to the physique and to the health of one's physique, without a shadow of i doubt a very easy moderation regimen to follow.
