The detox diet and permitted foods

I've already told you aboutdieta detox, the pros and cons of the detox diet. We also talked about interesting and somewhat strange diets such as the purifying one withaloe vera and  of how one can think of working well and working attentively, on an ongoing basis with our body. Today, however, I want to talk to you about the foods allowed in a purifying diet, also because many elements, precisely because it is a diet that serves to detoxify our body, are prohibited. In fact, we are talking about a complete elimination of milk, wheat, foods containing gluten, sugar, fried foods. On the other hand, the use of fruit and vegetables is very much in favor of eliminating toxins.

Foods to eat: Here is a list of foods you can consume during a 7-day detox diet

  • fresh or frozen fruit
  • unsweetened
  • dried fruit such as blueberries, dates, raisins

Vegetables

  • Vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, onions, garlic, artichokes, chard, and dark green leafy vegetables such as cabbage and chard
  • sea vegetables, including seaweed, nori sheets, wakame
  • corn

  • rice, especially brown or black rice

  • oats
  • whole grains, brown rice pasta, buckwheat pasta, crackers rice and bread

Beans and legumes

Nuts and seeds

  • seeds pumpkin
  • sesame seeds
  • chia seeds
  • hemp seeds
  • coconut
  • stock cube and butters made only with permitted ingredients

Oils

  • cold-pressed, extra-virgin olive oil

  • linseed oil
  • almond oil
  • avocado oil
  • coconut oil
  • sesame, sunflower and oils in limited quantities (a due to omega-6 fatty acids)

Beverages

  • “milks”: rice milk, almond milk, hemp milk
